The Flood have just announced that their new song “Lethal Injection” will be included on the latest installment of the SAW movie soundtrack. The SAW VI soundtrack will drop on October 20th via Trustkill Records and will feature exclusive and unreleased tracks from metal heavyweights Everytime I Die, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, and Type O Negative, to name a few. The Flood have just wrapped up their debut record with Sylvia Massy (Smashing Pumpkins, Tool) at her Radiostar Studios in Weed, CA. A massive tour announcement for the Fall is coming soon.

Chris Johnson, vocalist for The Flood, was kind enough to take some time and answer a few questions for Metal Martyr. The Flood recently wrapped up their 2009 SnoCore tour dates with Static-X and is currently working on their debut album with multi-Platinum, Grammy award winning producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Smashing Pumpkins).

After wrapping up their 2009 SnoCore tour with Static-X, The Flood is going back to the studio. Often compared to Tool, Deftones and Korn, The Flood hail from Seattle, Washington, and are preparing to finish up their debut full length album.
