Testament’s Formation’ To Be Issued On Green Vinyl
September 29, 2008 by Scott
Testament’s 2008 release The Formation Of Damnation will be issued in a limited number of 2500 on green vinyl. I like green vinyl. It’s pretty cool, in fact any color vinyl besides black is pretty damn entertaining just to hold and look at. I have Slipknot’s Roadrunner debut on green vinyl and a 10″ Torche Ep on Orange vinyl. Swing on over to TestamentLegions and get it while it’s hot…or before it goes on ebay.
Orders are limited to the USA. The cost of the record is $20.00 and shipping is $5.00.

Testament Win Album Of The Year At Golden Gods Awards.
Testament won the Metal Album Of The Year Award at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. Um…we’re not even half way through the year and there is a plethora of other great shit coming out the second half of 2008.
But anyway, that’s cool and good for them because The Formation Of Damnation is a great album. Now if you wonder how they won just take a look at the bands they were up against. Bullet For My Valentine, Children Of Bodom, Down and Atreyu. The only band that in my opinion had a chance is Children Of Bodom, with …read more

Riding high on a wave of critical acclaim for their new record, The Formation of Damnation, thrash titans Testament are MTV’s 52/52 Artist Of The Week! For the uninitiated, 52/52 is a way for MTV to shower love on its favorite bands, giving one artist each week over 11 hours of on-air promo time filled with live performances, interviews, skits, and more. For Testament’s appearance, MTV filmed the band’s BB King’s gig in NYC in April, as well as a special performance on Alcatraz in the band’s hometown of San Francisco. There will also be tons more …read more
Testament | Formation Of Damnation
May 3, 2008 by Scott
I was going to do a review for Testaments new release The Formation Of Damnation of this earlier this week on Wednesday, but I didn’t have a chance to listen to it very much and I didn’t want to make a quick review on this like I did with the Children Of Bodom Blooddrunk Album. This was a bit different though. I liked this right from the start.
I can’t sit here and try to compare it to older or newer Testament records because I don’t have any and I only recently became a fan after buying The Very …read more
The Metal Potential Of 2008

There is so many great bands releasing new albums this year it’s amazing. Just to name a few, you have young talented thrashers, Black Tide to release their Debut album Light From Above that I think will surprise a lot of people and blow them away. You have All That Remains that will be releasing their follow up to The Fall Of Ideals this summer, you have Children Of Bodom’s Blooddrunk and supposedly in September we will see the new Metallica record.
