South Carolina death metal act Through the Eyes of the Dead have announced the title of their forthcoming release on Prosthetic Records. The album, their third full length, will be titled Skepsis. The band has been recording at New York’s Gellar Cellar Studios. Alan Douches has been tapped to master the effort. The tracklisting is as follows:

I read a post on Headbanger’s blog where they were talking about The Red Chord’s Guy Kozowyk about the new wave of deathcore and metalcore bands of today and how oblivious they are to the roots of where their sound comes from.

The next bands on the bill I wanted to cover were The Red Chord and Walls Of Jericho. I got to see The Red Chords’ set kind of late, got some pictures and then had to run to the Rockstar Energy tent to get to Machine Head’s signing session. I got to their set kind of late because my son and I were hungry so I paid 16 bucks for two slices of Papa John’s pizza.
