Last night I went to check out local band The Ruin not too far from my house. It started out kind of a strange night but ended up being pretty cool. When I expected to go to Goldsboro, NC to watch them play I really didn’t expect it to be out in the country. But when I map-quested it I had a feeling that that’s where I was headed.

When you think of Metal and local scenes one of the last states that probably would ever come to mind is North Carolina.
