South Carolina death metal act Through the Eyes of the Dead have announced the title of their forthcoming release on Prosthetic Records. The album, their third full length, will be titled Skepsis. The band has been recording at New York’s Gellar Cellar Studios. Alan Douches has been tapped to master the effort. The tracklisting is as follows:

Orange County, CA – THROWDOWN will headline The Scum Of The Earth Tour which is set to kick off in February and will cross the United States (and some Canadian cities as well) through early April. It is the band’s first headlining tour in support of their new album, Venom & Tears, which was released in August.

Through The Eyes Of The Dead’s new release, Malice can be described in one word. Brutal. There is no other way to start describing it. What I would consider it is death metal but you guys can call it whatever you want. You know how I feel about sub-genres.
Malice, the follow up to 2005’s Bloodlust brings in Nate Johnson (ex-Premonitions Of War) on vocals. There are few people that I feel have a really good sound on the mic in terms of death metal.
