]]> Christian Metalcore outfit Underoath has premiered their new video “Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear” video on myspace. The song comes off of their latest release Lost In The Sound Of Separation, which was released on September 2nd of last year.

]]> Amon Amarth Twilight Of The Thunder God Who ever said metal would never be big was a complete fool. Both Trivium and Amon Amarth have landed in the top 50 of the Billboard 200. Look at it this way. These metal bands are all in the top 100. There may be more.

  • Metallica – Death Magnetic
  • Slipknot – All Hope Is Gone
  • All That Remains – Overcome
  • Disturbed – Indestructible
  • Underoath – Lost In Separation
  • All Shall Perish – Awaken The Dreamers

So metal is pretty much kickin ass on the billboard charts as far as album sales go. Both Twilight Of The Thunder God and Shogun are great albums, so it wasn’t much of a surprise that these guys landed where they are. Trivium has sold just under 24,000 copies of shogun and Amon Amarth have sold more than 11,000 copies of Twilight’.

]]> Underoath Lost In The Sound Of Separation Release of “Lost In The Sound Of Separation” Kicks off Start of World Tour  Band Offers Fans the Chance to Win Lifetime Entry to their Concerts.

Underoath’s new album, “Lost In The Sound Of Separation,” is available in stores and via digital retailers today, September 2nd.  A limited number of album copies contain “golden passes,” which allow lucky recipients admission to any Underoath concert for life.

Underoath—lead vocalist Spencer Chamberlain, guitarist Tim McTague, bassist Grant Brandell, drummer Aaron Gillespie, keyboardist Christopher Dudley and guitarist James Smith—are coming off the success of their last album, the gold-certified “Define the Great Line.”  Sales of the band’s last three albums on Tooth & Nail Records have sold over one million copies combined. Today’s debut of “Lost In The Sound of Separation,” catapults them far beyond their previous works to create a sound that’s epic and intimate, brutal and beautiful.  Drew Beringer of AbsolutePunk declared the album to be, “unpredictable and ear-splitting, full of ferocity and melody.”

The video for the first single off the album, “Desperate Times, Desperate Measures,” recently debuted on MTV.com and can be seen here.

Underoath will be touring in Europe, South Africa and Australia for the remainder of September and leading into October.  The group returns to the United States for October and November tour dates.
