20090711_sha_tn1_538-black-dahlia-murderThe Black Dahlia Murder’s newest album Deflorate, the follow-up to 2007’s Nocturnal will be released on September 15th. In preparation of this behemoth release, Metal Blade Records is offering a pre-order to fans which includes a signed copy of Deflorate at a low price*.

Still riding high on waves of acclaim for their rabidly-received DVD spectacle Majesty, The Black Dahlia Murder triumphantly bring you their fourth thrashing opus Deflorate. Vocalist Trevor Strnad states:

“We’re more confident than ever. I think as a band we really found our footing on Nocturnal. This time, we’ve taken this beast to the next level.”

Go here to pre-order your copy of Deflorate and be sure to pick up Revolver Magazine’s Back to School issue featuring The Black Dahlia Murder’s Trevor Strnad on the cover, available mid August. Revolver Magazine will be exclusively premiering a teaser clip taken from the bonus disc on Deflorate which shows the band on their first ever tour through Scandinavia and Russia. Go here to check out the first of four teaser clips showing the band in Oslo.

*signed copies available while supplies last, low price effective up to street date at which point price will increase

Deflorate was produced by The Black Dahlia Murder, Mark Lewis (Deicide) and Jason Suecof (Beneath The Massacre, Job For A Cowboy) with mixing duties handled by Suecof. Deflorate is multifaceted death trip: beautiful, evil, and morbidly addicting. The Black Dahlia Murder’s fourth thrashing epic sees no punch pulled, no gravestone unturned, no soul uncorrupted. Guard your precious innocence all you like, it will do you no good—Deflorate is here.

If you haven’t picked up your copy of Majesty yet, the DVD is available at the Metal Blade Records online store here and don’t forget to catch the band live as they tour on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival this summer.

The Black Dahlia Murder is:
Trevor Strnad – vocals
Brian Eschbach – guitar
Ryan Knight – guitar
Ryan “Bart” Williams – bass
Shannon Lucas – drums
