After wrapping up their 2009 SnoCore tour with Static-X, The Flood is going back to the studio. Often compared to Tool, Deftones and Korn, The Flood hail from Seattle, Washington, and are preparing to finish up their debut full length album. The Flood is signed with indie label Deify, who have put the band in the studio to record with multi-platinum, Grammy winning producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Smashing Pumpkins) at her Radiostar Studios in Weed, CA. The highly-touted video of the song “The Flood” (directed by Hans Kuester) has recently been unleashed and featured on Yahoo! Music, KNAC, among others. A major tour for this Fall is in the works. Check out the video here!

The Flood is:
Chris Johnson: Lead Vocals
Ajay Marshall: Guitar
Jeff Eason: Bass
Nate Minick: Drums
Darrick Jones: Beatbox, Hype Man, Visual Engineer
