  1. Gil says:

Oh my god i’ve wanted to go to this for so long. Iron Maiden is playing.

  2. Scott says:

me too…only one problem…it’s in Germany.

  3. KevinC says:

wow that’s an amazing list of bands…if only I could find something like this in North America.

    ATR

  4. Chris V. says:

North America could never host a dream concert like this because of all the political bullshit we must endure. Free country?

  5. Scott says:

Honestly I think its more of promotional/financial/popularity issue in the U.S. more than a political thing.

As much as I like to talk trash about the way the government in the U.S. is run they have bigger issues to worry about than nixing any big type concerts like this.

  6. jan says:

I am a mother trying to decide if my 18 yr old son should go to this concert with his older bro. Has any one been to it? Is it safe? I would appreciate any input. thank you

  7. Scott says:

C’mon, Mom. He’s 18, you gotta let go sometime. I understand your protectiveness but if he’s got a good head on his shoulders and Big brother looks after him then all should be good. I’ve never been to Wacken but honestly can it be any more dangerous than going to highschool everyday? At least your a concerned parent which is more than a lot of kids have. Let him go experience it.
