Warbeast Full Size Replica For Guitar Hero
March 9, 2009 by Scott
I’m trying to not go overboard with reporting too much about Guitar Hero, but this was too cool not to post. This has actually been out for a few months now. A B.C. Rich authorized Warbeast full size replica for use on Guitar Hero and Rock Band. B.C. Rich always has some of the coolest (or ugliest, depending on your taste) guitars on the market. The most “Metal” looking guitars anyway. The B.C. Rich Warlock is a classic metal guitar and The Beast is probably the most “Br00tal” looking guitar. Both very uncomfortable to play in my opinion and from my experience you have to shell out a fat wad of cash to get an American made B.C. Rich in order to get a good sound out of it. Either that or drop in better pick-ups because their stock pickups are garbage.
Anyway, this thing goes for $89.99 on Amazon.com and as far as I can tell is only made for the Playstation 3.

This is actually quite cool, I wonder what the feel would be? It probably feels somewhat better than wailing on those little two-foot Stratocasters, it probably feels less like a little plastic toy (granted, it still is). I hope I get the chance to try one someday, although I doubt it.
Kerry King is one of the few people who can rock a B.C. Rich without looking kinda like a tool in my opinion. It seems like B.C. Rich guitars are the go to guitar for anyone who wants to be exactly like (insert generic metal band here) and not do there own thing. There was a time when the Explorer wasn’t metal but space age, when people starting using it though it became the standard for metal guitars. People need to try new stuff is basically what it comes down too.
The only BC Rish that I still like is the Mockingbird, but they are still off balance. If I were to get one, I would save my money and buy one of the more higher shelf, more elegant models.
I liked BC Rich for the cool shapes before but I like the comfort of my Ibanez with the Strat style, although I do have an Ibanez Destroyer that is similar to an Explorer body and is a slightly shorter scale than your average guitar. I have a Dimebucker in it and it sounds wonderful.
This guitar seems to be very good, ive been searching around and people say its a very high quality, easy to use controller. Its for both PS3 and PS2 though. No xbox 360
why isnt there a warbeast made for 360
Actually it works with ps2 and ps3.
