WARBRINGER Unleashes Their Ferocious Debut Album and Joins Nile For Spring Tour; New Video Makes Its Headbangers Ball Debut This Weekend.

Though their debut album, War Without End, was just released yesterday on Century Media, LA’s premier young thrashers WARBRINGER are in the middle of one of the year’s most diverse bills with some of the genre’s most respected bands, which includes Exodus, Goatwhore and Arsis. Now backed by overwhelmingly positive reviews from Revolver, Decibel and Metal Edge magazines, they’re bringing the long-developing LA thrash scene to the mainstream supporting War Without End. The vicious new video for “Combat Shock” is also set to make its MTV2 debut on Headbangers Ball this Saturday, Feb. 9th at 11PM EST/8PM PST.

Their unrelenting touring schedule continues on March 8th as they hook up with Nile, Suicide Silence and The Faceless for a month-long North American trek. See below or be sure to check out www.myspace.com/warbringer for their complete touring itinerary.

John Kevill (vocals) further comments on the band’s current tour: “The shows have been awesome so far, and all the other bands are way cool dudes. We just played an amazing show at the legendary BB Kings in NYC and were blown away by the crowd response. It seems as if we are gaining new legions of fans everywhere we go and we couldn’t be more excited. We are all hanging at the merch booth every night after our set, so please come by and say hello. This tour is just the beginning of our worldwide campaign to support this album and we can’t wait to bring this war ensemble to a city near you. Prepare for combat shock.”

WARBRINGER aren’t interested in rehashing old thrash riffs. One listen to the apocalyptic, almost ethereal opening to ‘At the Crack of Doom’ and you’ll understand that. As Decibel wrote in their review of the debut, these guys are “true students of the sound,” but what really sets them apart is their adoration of everything from the traditional metal of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to Suffocation’s blistering death metal assault.

“A razor-sharp thrash attack” — Revolver
“Certain to please the Thrashliker” — Decibel
“Pure thrash the way it was intended: violent, heavy, loud, and most importantly, fun” — Lambgoat
“The head of the modern thrash class” — MetalSucks.net
